Tip of the Week

To lighten up on your total fat intake-use fat-free milk vs. whole, 2% or 1%. Fat free milk contains 90 calories per 8 ounces vs. 150 for whole milk. Not only do you decrease calories, you also decrease cholesterol and saturated fat. Pour salad dressing sparingly and dilute it with a tasty vinegar. Opt for mustard instead of mayonnaise and light or fat-free sour cream or yogurt instead of regular sour cream. Remember every little change makes a difference.
